Great product! Wish I would have known it was available on Walmart because I paid more for the one I bought on Ebay. I really like the the lock and it looks and works great. Now I don’t have to worry so much about my kids getting out because I mounted it higher up out of their reach.

The illustrations in the directions were slightly confusing, but once I figured out exactly the components of the lock fit together and where they went on the door and frame, it all made perfect sense. It took me about 30 minutes to figure it out and install it start to finish. That includes gathering the tools needed and cleaning up the shavings (from drilling the holes) after installation.

It was always annoying having to use a stick of some kind to make sure the sliding glass door was secure. This lock eliminates the need for that and more. I’ve seen how easily sliding doors can be lifted out of their track from the outside even when locked, and this device prevents that since it has locks on the top and bottom. The door cannot move up or down at all with this lock. When the original lock on the door is locked, the door still has some play in all directions. With this device locked, the door is absolutely solid. There is zero movement whatsoever in any direction.

It looks sleek and can’t be seen from the outside. I love everything about this lock and highly recommend it.

This is a replacement for one we left in our old home and they work good for years. Glass doors can not be lifted out once it is locked…Much nicer than a piece of wood behind door. First couple of locks can be stiff but it gets easier to open and close as it settles together.

We have a two-year-old that knows how to open the back door so we needed something that would keep her from opening the door easily. Easy to install. Don’t have to worry about her sneaking out to the pool without us knowing

100% recommend. Installation was a breeze, even thought my door frame was not flushed flat. Within minutes, my sliding patio door felt more secure than ever. The double-deadbolt mechanism is ingenious, effectively preventing the door from being lifted or pried open.

What really stands out is the child safety aspect. I installed it high enough to keep my curious toddler nephews and nieces from reaching it, giving me peace of mind. The lock’s sleek design doesn’t detract from our door’s appearance, which is a nice bonus.

The build quality is excellent, with sturdy materials that feel like they’ll last for years. It’s compatible with our metal sliding door, but it’s great to know it works with wood too.

While the price point is reasonable for the security it provides, I did notice it can be a bit tricky to align perfectly on some door types. However, once installed correctly, it works flawlessly.

This product is hands down one of my best Amazon purchases. I am very happy with the quality of the product. Toughbolt has really supplied a great product. Very easy installation. I would recommend longer screws than what is supplied, that is my only complaint. It is very easy to lock and unlock and is very secure 

I purchased one of the locks and installed it, with no issues at all. Once I saw the finished product, I purchased two more for other areas. The look is very nice and feels very secure. It has two stainless cylinders that keep the lock secure, and it locks both up and down. I would recommend the locks to anyone.
